Description
This course provides an overview of what happens if a claim cannot be settled, and the parties involved end in litigation via the civil court process. It covers the structure of the courts and what cases are heard within which court, as well as how it is decided. It gives an overview of the proceedings and explains how a review of the court system changed the way cases are dealt with in England and Wales.
The course explains some of the terminology you may hear, together with an explanation of the process of how proceedings are issued in the event of a dispute to the trial itself.
The course should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

- Describe the stages involved from the issue of proceedings to the trial
