This module provides an introduction to Freight Liability Insurance. It looks at the typical liabilities of those who conduct haulage, warehousing and forwarding operations, and the trading conditions under which contracts can be written to limit liability.Objectives

At the end of this course you will be able to:

Explain what hauling, warehousing and shipping and forwarding is
Demonstrate an understanding of the risks associated with haulage
Explain the Road Haulage Association's trading conditions
Describe the risks associated with warehousing
Show an understanding of trading conditions.
