Description

This course introduces the delegate to liability and its place in the UK legal system. We will look at the relationship between criminal and civil law and examine the system of torts in which liability falls within.We will look at the relationship between the tort of negligence and insurance and how cover applies particularly in the case of EL, PL and Products Insurance.To get a better understanding of the cover available we will look at the wordings likely to be found in a liability policy as well as the underwriter considerations.We will also examine what is not covered and why. This course is ideally suited to someone who is entering the industry or for those transferring from PL to commercial insurance as well as a refresher for those who have been in the industry for some time.
